Questions before you book
What license do I need?
An International Driving Permit (IDP) together with your home license is recommended for riding legally in Thailand. A Thai motorcycle license works too. Some shops may decline renters without one.
How does the deposit work?
Each shop sets its own deposit — cash or your passport — and it is shown on the bike page before you book. You leave it at the shop at pickup and get it back when you return the bike in the same condition.
What's included in the price?
Two helmets come free with every bike. There are no hidden fees at pickup: rentals under ฿667 add a minimum booking fee (so ฿100 is paid online), shown with your total before you book. Extras such as a phone holder are listed on each bike page.
How do I pay?
You pay a booking fee online when you book, with PromptPay or a card: 15% of the rental, or ฿100 if 15% is less. The shop's 85% of the rental is paid in cash when you pick up the bike. The bike page shows both amounts, and the total, before you book.
What if something goes wrong during my rental?
Message the Goja team on LINE or WhatsApp. For breakdowns, accidents or a disagreement with the shop, we help sort it out with the shop so you are not dealing with it alone.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. How much you get back depends on how long before pickup you cancel. The full rules are in our cancellation policy.
